Career Navigation
When you know something needs to change, but you're not sure what comes next.

You have built a real career one shaped by experience, credibility, and work you have earned. Now you may be at a crossroads.

Perhaps you are weighing whether to leave. Maybe your role has changed into something you did not sign up for. Or perhaps you have outgrown the direction you have been heading and want to understand what else is possible. For some, it is a pivot—and the question becomes how their experience translates.

Often, it sounds like this: “I do not want to keep doing this, but I do not know what I want instead.”

That is a particular kind of uncertainty: you have enough experience to know what no longer fits, but no obvious next step. The Meridian Career Navigation System™ gives you a structured way to work through it. We will clarify where you are, identify what matters most now, and assess which options are both meaningful and realistic.

Whether you stay, leave, or pivot, you will leave with a clearer direction and a practical path forward.
Is this where you are right now?
Clients usually come to me when they:
-
Know something needs to change and can't yet define what the change should be
-
Feel stuck in a career that no longer fits
-
Are considering leaving their organization and aren't sure it's the right decision
-
Have been laid off and need to determine what comes next
-
Are considering a pivot or an industry change
-
Want to understand how their experience translates to a new direction
-
Are choosing between several possible paths and keep going in circles
-
Feel successful on paper and disconnected from the work itself
-
Want to make a thoughtful decision before taking action
“Working with Vicky completely changed my perspective on my career. I was looking to make a transformational change, and I found a true partner to guide me through the entire process. She helped me understand what genuinely drives me as a professional and identify the kind of work that would have the greatest impact on my life.”

The Meridian Career Navigation System™
A four-phase framework for working through pivots, crossroads, and important career decisions.
When you're at a crossroads it's tempting to jump straight into a job search. The System creates space to step back first, understand your situation, and decide based on a clear set of criteria.
01. Position
Where am I now?
Your career journey, strengths, patterns, and the circumstances driving your desire for change.
02. Alignment
What matters to me now?
Your values, motivations, priorities, and the conditions that help you do your best work. This phase produces your Meridian Criteria™, the personal standards you'll use to evaluate every possibility that follows.
03. Trajectory
Where could I go from here?
Realistic pathways across roles, functions, industries, and organizations, tested against your Criteria.
04. Decision
What's my best next move?
Your direction, translated into your Career Navigation Planâ„¢ and a 90-day roadmap.
You don't need to arrive knowing what you want
The System is the methodology and your experience is how we apply it to your situation.
You may arrive saying:
"I know I need to leave."
"I think I want to make a pivot."
"I have several possibilities and I can't choose."
"I don't know what I want anymore."
"I know what I don't want, and I can't see what's next."
We begin where you are and work toward a direction you can understand, evaluate, and act on.

What Career Navigation Can Make Possible
“After 15 years with the same company, I knew something needed to change, but I wasn't sure what. I loved my organization, yet I felt undervalued and that my skills weren't being fully leveraged.”

Missy Boiseau
SVP, Small Business Digital Director at Bank of America
Result: Through our work together, Missy clarified her strengths, identified what mattered to her, and created a strategy for her career. She earned a promotion, secured a title advancement, and confidently negotiated her salary, ultimately receiving more than she had asked for.
“As a result, I realized that leaving my organization was not the right move. With patience and focus, I was able to identify and pursue an internal opportunity that proved to be a logical progression, a promotion, and ultimately an excellent timing and cultural fit.”

Dawn Bose
Senior Partnerships Leader, Paychex
Result: By guiding Dawn through a rigorous self-assessment focused on long-term strategy and alignment, we helped her gain the clarity needed to secure a meaningful internal promotion instead of prematurely leaving their company.
“I was anxious about redefining my career, but from our very first conversation, I knew she was the right coach for me. She encouraged me to think about my career in ways I never had before, giving me the confidence and clarity to move forward.”

Kristen LeBlanc
Operations Executive at Endocrine Society
Result: I loved helping Kristen go from feeling anxious about their career transition to gaining total clarity, shifting their perspective, and stepping into their next chapter with complete confidence!

Questions people ask
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That's the usual starting point, and it's what the work is for. Most of my clients need help figuring out where to start which is how I help.
What if the answer turns out to be staying where I am?
That's a legitimate outcome and some of my clients decide this as well. Any of my clients who chose to stay changed the terms through a promotion, a new internal role, or a different scope.
How are sessions delivered?
On Zoom. The Career Strategy Intensive is a single 90-minute session. Sessions in the Career Navigation Plan and the Career Transition Partnership are one hour each, usually every one to two weeks.
What happens right after I purchase?
Within 24 hours you'll receive your session preparation materials and a link to schedule your sessions. The pre-work is what makes the first session productive, so you'll arrive already thinking about the right questions rather than spending the hour on background.
Can I start with the one-session Career Intensive then add more sessions later on?
Yes.
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! I ask for 24 hours notice or you could lose one of your sessions. I allow one cancellation on the same day in emergency situations.
What outcomes can you promise?
I can't promise a specific role or timeline, and I won't try to. What this work reliably produces is a clear direction, criteria you can use to evaluate any opportunity, and a plan you can act on.
I'm not trying to leave — I can I grow where I am?
Then Career Navigation isn't your starting point. Career Growth (INSERT LINK) is built for exactly that.
Your career doesn't have to be linear
A career decision can lead somewhere completely new. It can also lead you back to something you'd overlooked, or deeper into where you already are. Career navigation is about understanding your options well enough to make an intentional decision about where you want to go next.
