Career Growth
Make the career you've built work better for you

You've built a career you care about inside an organization you know well, along with the relationships, credibility, and expertise that come with it. You may genuinely like your company and the work you do, and you can see yourself staying for years.
And you may be wondering:
-
How do I position myself for the next opportunity?
-
How do I increase my impact without simply taking on more?
-
How do I become more visible and influential?
-
How do I navigate the people and dynamics around me more effectively?
-
How do I make my work more meaningful and energizing?
-
How do I intentionally manage the career I've already built?
The Meridian Career Growth Framework™ helps experienced professionals become more deliberate about how they grow, contribute, influence, and navigate their careers.
This is for people who are doing well and want to do better by design. It’s for people who want to work on their career on purpose.

The Meridian Career Growth Framework™
A practical framework for managing your career intentionally, increasing your impact, and creating meaningful growth where you are.
Growth inside an organization is rarely a matter of working harder. It's a matter of how you're positioned, who understands your value, where you choose to stretch, and how deliberately you manage all three.
01. Position
How am I showing up?
Your strengths, reputation, relationships, contributions, and how you're currently perceived. Where you're creating value, where you're getting traction, and where you have room to strengthen your position.
02. Alignment
How can I have greater impact?
Stakeholder relationships, communication, visibility, managing up, organizational dynamics, and how you're positioned in the minds of the people who make decisions about you.
03. Growth
Where do I want to stretch?
Growth means more than a promotion or a bigger title. The experiences, capabilities, relationships, and opportunities that support your next level of development.
04. Intention
How do I want to manage my career?
Your goals, strengths, priorities, and opportunities brought together into a strategy, with a clear sense of where to invest your time, energy, and development from here.
You don't need a problem to work on your career
The Framework provides the structure. The Experience is how we apply it to your actual career, workplace, goals, and challenges.
You may arrive saying:
"I like my job. I just want to be more intentional about where I'm going."
"I know I'm capable of more and I'm not sure how to create the right opportunities."
"I want more impact without taking on more and more."
"I want someone I can talk to when complicated situations come up."
Any of those is a fine place to start.

What this has made possible
Growth work is specific to the person and the organization. Here's what it has looked like in practice.
A healthcare executive positioning for the C-suite
A Chief Clinical Information Officer wanted to be ready for Chief Development Officer opportunities in his health system. He had the clinical credibility. What he needed was enterprise credibility.
We focused on executive presence, cross-functional influence, and strategic relationships with the leaders whose opinions would decide whether he was seen as a C-suite candidate. Together we built a stakeholder engagement strategy, identified opportunities for him to gain budget and financial leadership experience, and repositioned him as a trusted business partner rather than a functional expert.
Over several months of coaching he strengthened his executive relationships, increased his strategic visibility, and developed a clear roadmap for C-suite readiness.
Position, Influence, and Growth, applied to a single advancement goal.
A high performer at an investment firm who needed to be heard
A client at an investment and asset management company was strong at the work and less visible than her contribution deserved. Her growth depended on executive communication, client-facing confidence, and strategic influence.
We worked on presentation and facilitation skills, and on translating complex investment performance into clear, compelling narratives. We also addressed the mindset patterns underneath it, particularly around asking for help and speaking up, and built strategies for being more proactive and more relationship-focused.
She improved her executive presence, deepened her investment knowledge, and built real confidence leading client discussions and partnering with senior stakeholders.
Influence work, where the constraint was visibility rather than capability.
"I was anxious about redefining my career, but from our very first conversation, I knew she was the right coach for me. She encouraged me to think about my career in ways I never had before, giving me the confidence and clarity to move forward."

Questions people ask
Do I have to tell my employer?
No. This is your work and it stays confidential, so nothing is shared with your organization unless you choose to share it yourself.
Can my employer pay for this?
Yes. Many organizations have professional development or tuition budgets that cover exactly this kind of work, and some managers will approve it directly. I can provide an invoice and a short description of the engagement for your request.
How is this different from what my company's leadership program offers?
Internal programs are built for a population, while this is built for your specific situation, your organization, and the people around you. And it's yours, so the strategy follows you regardless of where you work.
Do the six sessions follow a set curriculum?
They follow the four areas of the Framework, and the emphasis is yours to set. If you're working through something specific, we start there and build the rest of the sessions around it. If you'd rather work the sequence in order, we do that. You finish with the same four deliverables either way, and we agree on the approach in session one.
Will this get me promoted?
I can't promise a promotion. Promotions depend on timing, budget, and decisions made above you. What this work does is make sure you're positioned, visible, and prepared, so that when the opportunity is there, you're the obvious answer.
What if I decide I do want to leave?
That happens, and it's a good outcome when it's the honest one. If this work surfaces that a change of organization is the real answer, we shift, or you move into Career Navigation, which is built for that decision.
How are sessions delivered?
On Zoom. The Intensive is a single 90-minute session. Sessions in the Plan and the Partnership are one hour each.
What happens right after I purchase?
Within 24 hours you'll receive your Career Reflection Questionnaire and a link to schedule your sessions. The questionnaire is what makes the first session productive, so you'll arrive already thinking about the right questions rather than spending the hour on background.
Can I start with the Intensive and move up?
Yes.
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! I ask for 24 hours notice or you could lose one of your sessions. I allow one cancellation on the same day in emergency situations.
Your career is something you can manage on purpose
Growth happens from where you already sit, through how you develop, where you contribute, which relationships you build, and the impact that follows. Promotions and new jobs are only part of it.
Some of the most meaningful change happens inside the career someone already has, by shifting how they approach it.
